Welcome to Bioimaging - GR - DUTH facility

BioImaging-GR is a distributed research infrastructure for open-access, high-end biological imaging providing a range of imaging methods to scientists in Greece and neighboring countries.

Bioimaging - GR - DUTH facility is a distributed partner node located in Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, of Democritus University of Thrace in Alexandroupolis Greece.

Through a new funding program and the collaborative initiative Translational Discovery Hub, jointly implemented by the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) and Medical School (MED), the facility has expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of two additional state-of-the-art micoscope systems, significantly enchanicing its capabilities for advanced imaging and translational research.

The facility currently manages four advanced light microscope systems and a workstation dedicated to image analysis. The facility is open for both internal and external users.
